Avocado on Tempeh Toast

4oz fresh tempeh

1 avocado

1 tsp avocado oil

½ lime

Onion, shaved

Fresh sprouts or other chopped green

1 Tablespoon chopped cilantro or parsley

Pink salt (or other)

Black pepper, fresh ground

Option: fermented vegetables



  1. Slice tempeh ½ thick longwise and salt to taste
  2. Toast in avocado oil until golden brown on medium heat
  3. Layer slices of avocado on top of your toast, add lime, salt and pepper to taste and garnish with remaining ingredients
